Dear Friends,

I would like to welcome you to my home page and thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me and my work on behalf of the residents of the Sixth Hampden District at the State House. The Sixth Hampden District is comprised of the Town of West Springfield, three wards in Chicopee (Wards 2A, 3A, & 4A) and one ward in Springfield (Ward 2E, Hungry Hill).

I am excited about the opportunity to continue serving the residents of the Sixth Hampden District. I believe that although times have been difficult recently we can and will pull through.  I am certain that as you look over this website and read about the efforts we have been making in Boston you will share my optimism that Massachusetts is well positioned to emerge from this recession a stronger, more vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family.

When I first ran for office I made two promises to the people, and I have worked hard to keep those promises.  The first was to fight to protect vital services for those who need them the most, our children and our seniors. The second was to protect local aid because I know how important those resources are to the prosperity of our communities.   This website details some of the accomplishments that have been made in recognition of these promises.   But, the fight never ends and I am ready to continue my hard work together with this great community.

I have built upon my years of experience on the West Springfield City Council and utilized this knowledge at the State House to stay focused on our priorities.   I have worked to ensure that those priorities are heard in Boston and that our community is getting our fair share.   I also brought with me an ability to listen, learn quickly, and work together to resolve issues.   These are attributes I refine every time I am contacted by a constituent and have the chance to help them with their concerns.

On this web site you will have an opportunity to offer me advice on the issues so that I may continue to make your voice heard in Boston.  You will also have the chance to volunteer to help on my Re-Election campaign and get more involved in our community.   There are also important links included that you may find useful.
